Soy wax – what it is and other interesting information
Soy wax is made from soybean oil. Candles made from this wax do not emit any harmful artificial substances when burning. Soy wax is odorless and therefore easy to mix with different aromatic oils, which allows all the subtleties of the scent to be fully revealed. The aroma is revealed when the candle is lit and the wax starts to melt, so you can smell the fresh notes after a good ten to fifteen minutes. Not only that, the smell is not annoying or too pungent, so you don’t need to continuously ventilate the premises.
Soy wax has been used for candle making since relatively recently. It was only in 1996 that they soy wax for candles was finally crerated; it’s still being used today – with an ideal melting point and good aroma release. Soy wax is now readily available and can be purchased by contacting us.
